The Pulse note · Friday, November 6

Glamour and tailoring lead a week driven by the runway and editorial, not the street

  1. Glamour is rising with a score of 84 and 77 rank places gained on 16 mentions. It is also well ahead of the street, at 18.8% of SS27 runway looks against 5.0% on the street.

    Glamour
  2. Tailoring has the most mentions in the index at 40 and a score of 83, with 18.3% of runway looks. Wool, Oversized and Minimal also show on both the runway and the street, and the men's report 'Supersize Tailoring, Softened' covers the theme.

  3. Loafers (up 91 places), metallic (up 95) and denim blue (up 101) have the biggest rank moves, each on 10 to 13 mentions. That is a small base, so read the jumps with care.

  4. Keke Palmer, on 9 mentions, is the top person and is tied to Bob Mackie, while Matt Damon and Shaboozey are tied to Ralph Lauren, the brand with the most editorial mentions at 8. All of this coverage is editorial-led, with no street looks recorded.

What each city wears more than the rest

Where the data comes from

Street style galleries from the fashion weeks (Vogue), credited to their photographers. Every look of the main runway shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris, from Vogue Runway. The daily reports, and the Instagram and X posts our agents Muse and Nova track. Products and searches on Style Pulse.

How we score

An AI tagger reads every photo for 235 attributes and 71 named designs, and an AI reader finds the brands, people and named items in every report and post. Street share is balanced across sites, so no single source can tip it. The score blends Street (50%), Social (35%) and Shop (15%): how present something is in its category, and how fast it grows. The runway is shown next to it, not in it: it says what comes next. Names are ranked within their kind, on mentions weighted by engagement.

What the labels mean

New first seen this period. Emerging small but growing fast. Rising up 20% or more. Peaking among the most worn, flat. Cooling down 20% or more. Size: niche under 2% of looks, growing, big, massive over 15%.
