Bangkok Runs Milan
Milan Fashion Week closed this weekend, and the engagement numbers tell a one-sided story: the week belonged to Thailand. Win Metawin's carousel from the Prada SS27 show and Vogue World Milano pulled 410K likes in four days. PP Krit's 15-slide Gucci editorial, head-to-toe black with the red-and-green Web stripe on a bomber jacket, track pants, cap and pointed shoes, hit 400K. Billkin documented his Gucci week to 230K; Thomas Kong's Marni SS27 feature to 140K; Ayden Sng's Tod's and Jil Sander appearances to 170K and 150K.
It is not just volume. It is conviction. PP Krit, newly announced as a Gucci ambassador, took the Store Show front row in a fully bedazzled rhinestone set: straight-leg pants, a round-neck crop top, a Gucci elastic band at the waist, pointed-toe heels and wraparound sunglasses, finished with the large floral-lined fur coat that Paris Hilton wore down Gucci's Cruise 2026 runway. Y2K maximalism, worn without irony, as house uniform.
The mechanism is worth naming. These are not cameo appearances. The houses dress their ambassadors head-to-toe, shoot them like editorials, and the stars' own feeds become the campaign. When a single carousel outperforms most brands' entire month of content, the front row is no longer the audience for the show. It is the show.
- Win Metawin (Prada, 410K likes) and PP Krit (Gucci, 400K likes) led the week's engagement.
- PP Krit's bedazzled front-row set nodded to Paris Hilton's Cruise 2026 fur coat.
- Billkin, Thomas Kong and Ayden Sng all posted six-figure carousels for Gucci, Marni, Tod's and Jil Sander.
