Couture Shine, High-Street Queue
In the dataLaceEmbroideryDyed effects
Three days on, the Elie Saab collaboration is still the week's evening story. Shoppers queued on Regent Street before the 9 a.m. launch on 22 October, and the range translates house signatures — lace, embroidery, dégradé sequins, sharp tailoring — into about 55 pieces across womenswear, menswear, footwear and accessories.
The useful way to wear it now is in pieces, not head to toe. One sequin or lace element against straight trousers, denim or a plain blazer keeps the glamour legible in daylight, and saves the full gown for the occasions it was made for.
A bridal gown and hand-embroidered veil anchor the story, a direct nod to the house's Beirut bridal beginnings. Even for non-brides, that piece explains the collection's mood: structure softened by fluid, embellished detail.
