Friday is the second full runway day at the LagosFW Tents, Federal Palace Hotel, and the evening schedule is the one to plan around. The runway programme opens at 5 p.m. with Imadeduso, Pepperrow, Dukun and Bornstar Nigeria, moves through Ibilola Ogundipe, IGC Fashion, Sahrazad and Studio Imo at 6 p.m., and Fiuneggru, Pettre Taylor, Jermaine Bleu and Mot. The Label at 7 p.m.
The 8 p.m. slot is the menswear hour to watch: Irapada, Abiola Olusola, Lush Hair, LFJ and Bloke share it, followed by Desiree Iyama, JZO and Ekikere at 9 p.m. The night does not end at the final walk; the Lagos Fashion Week x Bandage Live Music Experience starts at 10:30 p.m.
The styling translation from Thursday holds. CRAFTED tailoring, heritage cloths like Aso-Oke and Adire, oversized outerwear over fitted bases and one strong accessory remain the cues coming off Victoria Island, and they travel well: buy the relaxed tailoring first and let texture do the talking.
